1.8T 1985 VW Vanagon Westfalia Camper – $13k in Napa, CA
WOW, here’s a deal for your Monday. 1985 VW Vanagon Westfalia camper with unknown mileage and ~20k on on a VW/Audi 1.8L Turbo conversion done by Stephen’s Auto Haus(not sure if it was the one in Sacramento or the one in Marin). This rig also comes with recent tie rods, bushings, ball joints, springs, Bilstein shocks, new brakes, gas tank seals and rear CV joints. It looks like it has seen some seam rust on the rocker panels, and it was maybe bedlinered or painted, and then rusted through again? There also appears to be some rust around the windows. I can’t quite tell with the pictures and seller didn’t provide any details here. The seller also didn’t provide pictures of the pop top. or mention if/how well any of the kitchen equipment is working. However, keep in mind the 1.8T conversions costs at least $15k to begin with and you usually won’t find a 1.8T Westy for under $20k.
